Because some days, getting out of bed is the workout.
There are days when I wake up and feel like I have nothing left to give mentally, emotionally, or physically. Whether it’s stress, grief, hormones, or just pure overwhelm, I’ve learned not to shame myself for those low-energy days.
But I’ve also learned something powerful: movement doesn’t drain me it restores me… if I meet myself where I am.
This 20-minute workout is my go-to on the days I feel mentally exhausted but still want to show up for my body and my healing. It’s simple, grounding, and surprisingly energizing. No weights. No pressure. Just movement.
🌿 The Workout: Grounding, Gentle, and Energizing
Set a calming playlist. Light a candle if that’s your vibe. And breathe.
This flow is designed to regulate your nervous system while gently building strength and reconnecting you to your body.
Do 2–3 rounds, resting as needed:
• Cat-Cow Stretch – 1 minute
Inhale + arch, exhale + round.

• Bird Dog (Hold) – 30 seconds per side
Core + balance
• Bodyweight Squats – 1 minute
Go slow, full range

• Glute Bridge – 1 minute
Breathe into your belly

• Wall Sit – 30 seconds to 1 minute
Grounding + focus
• Slow High Knees – 30 seconds
Controlled, not cardio
• Forward Fold Stretch – 1 minute
Let everything go

Bonus: Finish with 2 minutes in legs-up-the-wall pose and focus on deep breathing.
You don’t need to push, punish, or prove anything. This isn’t about weight loss or aesthetic goals—it’s about reconnecting to yourself through movement, even in the moments you feel like disappearing.
You deserve to move in ways that support your mental and emotional health. And that starts with listening to your body.
